We are looking for volunteers in the following categories to help during disaster relief efforts:
Immediate Volunteer Needs
Role & Responsibilities:
- Assist with organizing and managing relief operations, including coordinating efforts across different volunteer groups.
- Help with data entry, maintaining volunteer records, and communication with disaster-affected areas.
- Provide logistical support for donation drives and distribution centers.
Immediate Need: Administrative volunteers are needed to manage communications, process donations, and support the coordination of relief efforts. Your organizational skills will help ensure the smooth running of the operations.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Help clear debris and assist with the cleanup of damaged properties.
- Support in sorting through materials for salvageable goods.
- Provide assistance in clearing areas to make way for rebuilding efforts.
Immediate Need: We need volunteers to assist in clearing debris from homes, schools, businesses, and public areas affected by the disaster. Your hands-on help will make a tangible impact in restoring these areas.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in assessing structural damage to buildings and homes.
- Assist with the design and planning of temporary shelters and long-term housing solutions.
- Offer technical advice on the safety of affected areas and provide solutions for rebuilding.
Immediate Need: Engineering and architectural volunteers are needed to conduct assessments and create blueprints for rebuilding efforts. Your professional expertise is vital in ensuring safe and efficient restoration.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Help rebuild homes, businesses, schools, and community centers.
- Assist in the construction of temporary shelters, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
- Work on restoring critical infrastructure such as water and power supply systems.
Immediate Need: Volunteers with specialized skills in construction, plumbing, electrical work, and general contracting are urgently needed. Your expertise will directly contribute to rebuilding homes and businesses in affected areas.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Help collect, package, and distribute food to affected families and shelters.
- Coordinate local food drives and fundraising efforts to ensure families have access to nutritious meals.
- Assist in setting up emergency food stations at shelters and distribution centers.
Immediate Need: Volunteers are needed to organize and support food drives, distribute meals to shelters, and ensure families have access to essential food supplies during the disaster recovery process.

- Help collect and distribute essential supplies such as hygiene kits, clothing, bedding, and first aid items.

Immediate Need: Essential supplies such as hygiene kits, baby supplies, clothing, and first aid items are critical. Volunteers will help sort, pack, and distribute these items to those affected by the disaster.

- Assist in setting up temporary shelters for displaced families.
- Help with the coordination of housing assignments, ensuring each family receives adequate space and accommodations.
- Work with local authorities to establish safe and accessible shelter locations for those in need.
Immediate Need: Volunteers are needed to help set up emergency housing units, assist with logistics in moving families into temporary shelters, and ensure that displaced families have a safe place to stay while their homes are being rebuilt.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Help manage and coordinate corporate donations, ensuring that product and financial donations are distributed to areas of need.
- Assist with creating partnerships with corporations to secure ongoing support for disaster relief efforts.
- Help track and acknowledge corporate contributions to ensure transparency and recognition.
Immediate Need: Volunteers are needed to assist in outreach to corporations, track incoming product donations (such as food, water, and supplies), and help with the logistics of incorporating these donations into the relief efforts.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Work with corporate partners to secure sponsorships for events and ongoing relief initiatives.
- Assist with sponsorship packages, ensuring that sponsors are recognized for their contributions.
- Help create and maintain relationships with key sponsors, fostering long-term partnerships for future relief efforts.
Immediate Need: Sponsorship volunteers are needed to help develop and manage corporate sponsorship packages, ensuring that our partners are acknowledged and involved in the disaster relief efforts.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Help plan and execute fundraising events, both virtual and in-person, to raise funds for disaster relief efforts.
- Assist with event logistics, registration, guest services, and marketing.
- Coordinate with vendors, volunteers, and partners to ensure the success of each event.
Immediate Need: Volunteers are needed to help with the planning and coordination of fundraising events, ensuring that each event runs smoothly and helps generate vital funds for ongoing relief efforts.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Set up and manage donation kiosks at events, conferences, and public locations.
- Assist with accepting donations, distributing informational materials, and engaging the public to raise awareness about disaster relief efforts.
- Help with tracking donations and ensuring that kiosk operations run efficiently.
Immediate Need: Volunteers are needed to staff donation kiosks during fundraising campaigns, helping to raise awareness and collect donations in person.
